Fees and Billing Information

Mixed Billing - Bulk Billing/Private Fees

Our practice is a Mixed Billing practice.

We have different billing schedules with our doctors with a number of our doctors privately billing all appointments. 

If you would like a bulk billing appointment, please discuss this with reception when you book your appointment.

 

Those doctors who bulk bill only bulk bill for:

  • Patients under 16 years of age

  • Patients with a valid pension and concession card

Payment is required at the time of consultation. We accept EFTPOS, credit card and cash. For most patients we can process a Medicare rebate on the day, with your rebate deposited into your nominated bank account.

Please ask our reception team if you have questions about the billing for your appointment before you attend.

Did Not Attend (Missed appointments) / Cancelled Appointments

Please advise the practice as soon as possible if you are unable to attend.

Any cancellation within 2 hours of your appointment, or non-attendance at an appointment will attract a fee (please note: there is no Medicare rebate for this). This fee must be paid before attending any further appointments.

Saturday Afternoon and Public Holidays

  • An additional out of hours fee applies to all appointments during these times.

  • No appointments are bulk billed

Specialist Appointments

Special services such as Coal Board Medicals and Fitness for Duty Assessments are billed at a fixed fee.

Visiting Allied Health Professional services and specialists may have individual billing policies. Please ask reception when booking an appointment for more information.

Mon - Fri: 7:30am - 6pm
Sat: 9am - 2pm
Sun: Closed

Public Holidays: 10am - 2pm (Please note: this is subject to staff availability).
